Spiritual direction is not advice. It is a sacred conversation — and an invitation to grow closer to Christ.

I'm a Spiritual Director with a heart for helping people grow closer to God. I carry 30+ years of leadership experience — but when it comes to spiritual direction, none of that matters as much as this: I know what it feels like to need someone to sit with you in the middle of what God is doing.
I'm not here to tell you what to do. I'm here to listen, ask the right questions, and help you discern what the Spirit is already speaking over your life.
No pressure. No judgment. Just a safe space to seek God together.
You feel like God is moving in your life but you're not sure how to respond or what it means.
You want to go deeper in your faith but don't have a safe, structured space to do it.
You're navigating a major life decision and need discernment, not just advice.
You're spiritually dry and longing to reconnect with God in a meaningful way.
Spiritual direction is a relational process in which a trained spiritual guide listens to and companions someone who desires a deeper relationship with God. For Christians, this means becoming more like Jesus Christ.
The spiritual director is trained to listen, discern, and sometimes ask questions — paying careful attention to both your story and the Spirit moving in it.
It is not counseling, friendship, mentoring, teaching, or discipleship. It is something set apart: a commitment to discover what God is doing in your life and to help you come closer to Christ.
A summary drawn from the work of Richard Foster
It is an interpersonal relationship in which we learn how to grow, live, and love in the spiritual life.
It involves a process through which one person helps another understand what God is doing and saying.
Discernment is a crucial gift in the work of spiritual direction.
There is absolutely no domination or control. The space is safe and free.
The director guides through the spiritual world by spiritual means — not human strategy.
God has ordained spiritual directors among His people. This is the structure of love in practice.
Sessions are one-on-one, typically 60 minutes, and held via video or phone. Here is what the rhythm looks like:
You bring what is on your heart — a season, a question, a stirring, a struggle. There is no wrong place to start.
Eric listens not just to you, but to what the Spirit is doing beneath your words. Questions help bring clarity, not conclusions.
You leave with greater awareness of where God is moving — and what your next faithful step might be.
